International Adoption

Catholic Family Services has two choices for clients wishing to pursue an International Adoption.

Option 1: The Birmingham and Huntsville Offices are in partnership with Catholic Social Services in Charlotte, North Carolina to offer International Adoptions from Russia and China.

The home study fee is $1,500.00 and a $200.00 fee for all post-placement services. To update a home study the fee is $400.00.

Option 2: Catholic Family Services in Huntsville has two experienced, private practioners who are licensed social workers who can complete a home study for families desiring to adopt internationally. Generally, you should know which international agency and country you are going to be working with so that their requirements can be met during the home study process. Some exceptions can be made if you are working directly with a foreign consulate. Post-Placement services are also available.

Fees are the same as listed in option 1.
